How do I claim my Adviser Ratings profile?

Claiming your profile is easy and free for all registered Australian financial advisers. Follow the steps below:

1. Open the 'Join Adviser Ratings' link: https://portal.adviserratings.com.au/claim/join/
   
   
2. Type your name and select yourself from the drop-down menu
   
   
   
   
3. You'll be shown your existing professional listings from ASIC's Financial Advisers Register - you can then click 'Set up my account'
   
   
   
   *NOTE - Only the professional listings that are current on ASIC's Financial Advisers Register (FAR) will come through to your Adviser Ratings profile in order for our site to remain in line with the regulator.
   
   Any updates to these listings should first be made with ASIC (your licensee can usually do this on your behalf), then the new information will flow through to your Adviser Ratings profile after our next regular update.
   
   
4. If the email we have listed for you is correct - all you need to do is click to accept terms and conditions and 'Set up my account'
   
   If you use a 'different email', you will receive a temporary password to that email address
   
   If you use a 'mobile number', you will receive a temporary password to that mobile via SMS
   
   *NOTE - The email or mobile you choose here will become your username for all future logins and where all passwords/recovery codes will be sent
   
   *NOTE - Please allow a few minutes to receive your temporary password into your email or via SMS and be sure to check your junk folder
   
   
   
   
5. Enter your temporary password received via the email (check all folders) or mobile chosen. Be sure to 'show' the password to ensure there are no spaces and click 'Submit'
   
   

   

    
6. You'll then be prompted to change to your preferred password which needs to include: 
   • 8 x characters
   • Capital and lowercase letters
   • A number
   • A symbol
   
   
   
7. You'll then arrive at the welcome page
